Akshara Schemes:
Akshara Sri:
Few philanthropists have come forward donating Rs. 75,000/- and above towards certain specific items of the temple. Hence, we have brought them under "Akshara Sri" scheme. The scheme is open and any body can contribute under the scheme.
Akshara Stupa:
You will notice 108 Laxmi pillars around the temple complex which will work as the inner compound wall. Before Prathishtapana of main temple complex, 108 donors have provided Rs. 10,000/- per pillar and we have engraved their name and rishi gothram on each pillar. On the the top of each pillar, a nicely carved Laxmi idol is placed well covered with glass with aluminium frame. The temple has become a place of beauty also because of these pillars. Since all the pillars are completed at the time of Prathishtapana itself, we are not in a position accommodate new members under this scheme.
Akshara Sopana:
There are 26 steps on each side leading to 1st floor of the complex from ground floor. Donors have come forward donating Rs. 2,500/- per step and all the 52 steps are engraved with the donor's name. Since the work is complete by the time of Prathishtapana itself, we are not in a position to accommodate new members under this scheme.
Saswatha Pooja Scheme:
The contributors under the scheme may select a date or thithi every year on which day the 1st Pooja in the temple will be held in the name (nama and gothram) of the contributor or the specified family member. The scheme is specifically aimed for regular poojas on the birthdays, marriage days or any other anniversary days of the family members. Under this scheme we have provision for contribution either to single deity whom the donor selects or all deities in the temple. In the first case the charge is Rs. 1000/- per deity and in the second case it is Rs. 3,000/- for all the deities in the temple. The trust will not spend the money collected under this scheme. The amount is deposited in a specified corpus fund as fixed deposit with a Bank and the interest earned on the corpus fund will be utilised towards the expenditure of the poojas. So far large number of devotees have contributed under the scheme and scheme is open for more contributions.
Vasthra Dana Scheme:
Under this scheme, the used-clothing are collected both from the residents of the colony and friends and relatives as a part of Gandhi Jayanthi activities and the clothing is distributed amongst the poor, old, destitute, children etc either directly or through other identified organisations. We have been conducting this scheme since inception of the Trust.

Under this scheme, we collect funds from the donors and pool them into a corpus fund and maintain as Fixed deposit with a Bank. Interest earned on the corpus fund is used every year to provide scholarships to meritorious but poor students and for honouring the top-ranking students of our colony. Lot of the enthusiastic donors have come forward donating liberally and the scheme is open.
Arogya Dana Scheme:
Under this scheme, we collect the donations and pool them into separate corpus fund which will be kept in a fixed deposit with a Bank. Interest earned on the corpus fund is used towards providing free medicines to the poor. We are conducting a Homeo medical clinic and an Allopathy medical clinic in the temple complex on the specified days every week. Couple of doctors are providing medical consultation and free medicines (as their contribution) to the patients.
